For the most part, we had a wonderful 1st day of school. It was filled with a Back to School Breakfast, revamping chores, and a reveal table of all their new curriculum with what we will be studying this school year.

We had a great day together doing a craft and digging in to the curriculum! We are blessed that we are already in a groove of homeschooling and not in the tandem of whether school will start back in person or not.

Lastly, we were able to have our annual Back to School Bonfire where the kids made Banana S’mores.

The day ended with a bang….. and I don’t mean the s’mores.

I was walking back to the house and stepped off the bottom step wrong into our flower bed. I then twisted my Ankle and fell into the concrete side where I broke a bone.
