What an amazing girl to celebrate!! Soph turned 13 this past weekend even though we told her all year that her next birthday would be canceled.

Dear Soph,

How can we begin to say all of the things that you are gifted in? You have a nurturing spirit that is such an example to me. You care for your younger siblings with ease and joy. All of your friends adore you. You get more letters in the mail and have more pen pals than all of us put together. You are becoming an amazing chef and soon you will be taking over you sisters baking business. Your amazing waffles topped with honey berry sauce and fresh whipped cream got me from the first bite. Thank you for all you do to bring joy and life into our home. There isn’t anyway that our adoptions would have been as wonderful if it wasn’t for your gentle love for them both. You are my AA – the best “Adoption Assistant” a mom could ever hope for!
