I am always sentimental on the kids birthdays. One birthday, when Alexandra, our oldest turned 10, I was crying (actually sobbing) at breakfast. The children got real quiet and asked if someone had died. Some may call it concerning, but Blake wisely says that I am a tender flower. πΈ
So that story brings me to Gotcha Day! Which has gotten to me on a different level.
Yesterday, Theodore was pretending to make a phone call and I captured it on video.
He is calling China…… take a look below.
- Happy Gotcha Day, Son!!
- We love you to China and back!!
Oh my goodness, that is so precious!! Congratulations!! π We are still praying for you guys as you continue bonding!

This just melted my heart; I had to watch it twice! He has come so very far. He now has a twinkle in his eyes. That toothless grin is just too much to handle!!!!! I love this boy!
